With free training courses through Google Play's Academy for App Success, you can learn about Play Console features to help you grow your app or game business.

After you sign up, you can access our online courses anytime, on any device. Each course is part of a learning path and only takes a few minutes to complete. After you enroll in a learning path, you can test your knowledge by taking an assessment. If you score 80% or higher on the assessment, you earn an achievement that's displayed on your profile page.

Content on Play Academy is only available in English at this time.

Explore and find courses

You can explore and find courses and learning paths (collections of related courses) by using the left navigation menu. You can expand or collapse this menu at any time by pressing the icon of three lines in the top left of your screen.

Home: View main course categories and tips to get started.
Browse: View all courses available on Play Academy, as well as categories and achievements.
Play Console: Go directly to your Play Console to make changes to your app.
Help Center: Find answers to common questions about the Play Console and reach the Google Play support team.
Feedback: Let us know how we can improve Play Academy to make this platform better for you.
Profile: Manage your account, see your favorite courses, review your enrollment history, and log out of Play Academy.

Start a course or learning path

When you're ready to start a course or learning path, there are two ways to get started:



Option#1
  1. From the home page, click on a topic you're interested in and a learning path will open.
  2. Complete courses in the learning path in any order.
  3. At the end of each learning path, you're able to take an assessment and earn an achievement.
  4. When you're done, exit the learning path and return to the homepage by clicking the X icon in the top left corner.

All of your progress is tracked in your History.



Option#2
  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu.
  2. Select Browse.
  3. To view all courses and learning paths, select All Activities. To view courses where you've earned an achievement, select Awards.

Save favorites and share content

Save content

After you have opened a course, you can save it by going to the top of the page and selecting the heart icon.

View saved courses

To view your saved courses:

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu.
  2. Under your Profile, select Favorites.

Share courses

To share e-learning content:

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu.
  2. Select Browse.
  3. Select All Activities.
  4. Select a course.
  5. Copy and paste the course URL and send it directly to your friends or colleagues.

View achievements and course history

View achievements

To view your earned achievements:

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu.
  2. Under your Profile, select My Profile. Your achievements will appear under the Awards section.

To see all courses that award an achievement:

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu.
  2. Select Browse > Awards.

View your course history

To view and download the list of courses that you've taken and your assessment results:

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu.
  2. Under your Profile, select History.
  3. To print or save a PDF of your course and assessment history, select Print History.

Leave feedback on a course or learning path

We're constantly striving to make Play Academy the best place to learn how to grow your app business. You can let us know how we can make this platform better and help other users find relevant content in a number of ways.

  • Leave general feedback by using the Feedback button on the left navigation menu.
  • Leave feedback on a learning path by selecting a star rating under the learning path title or clicking Add review.
  • Leave feedback on a specific course by selecting it from Browse > All Activities. Then, choose a star rating or click Add review.

Manage your account

Listed below are the steps you can follow if you wish to edit your profile or delete your account from Google Play's Academy for App Success.

Edit your profile

To edit your profile:

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu
  2. From the Profile section, select My profile.
  3. Under your picture, select Edit Profile
  4. Enter your information.
  5. Click Save.

From your profile, you can make changes to your personal information and preferences. You can also add a recovery email.

Delete your account

At any time, you can delete your Play Academy account and all associated course progress. Before deleting your account, you can print or save your course history using the steps below.

To delete your account

  1. On the left menu, select the three line menu
  2. From the Profile section, select My profile.
  3. Near the middle of the Profile page, select Delete Account.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete account deletion.

When you delete your Play Academy account, all data is deleted from the Intellum Exceed LMS platform, as well as Google's reporting. You can sign up again if you choose, though all progress will be lost. Keep in mind, deleting your Play Academy account doesn't automatically delete your Google Account.
